Looks like nVidia is changing their released driver naming scheme a bit. These latest WHQL drivers <s>331.58</s> 331.65 WHQL are called R331.
Edit: nVidia did a one two bang WHQL release... updated link.

If anyone tested these drivers, are they stable for 680m?
-
Starting with this driver G-Sync is available as one of the options under V-Sync in the Nvidia Control Panel, for Kepler GPU's of course.
-
interesting octi, looks like they are going to push hard on g-sync.
read a bit on it on anandtech but im still a little skeptical on how important it will be. others seem to think its the next big thing though. -
When were the monitors supposed to release?
-
-
will load and test as soon as batman has finished downloading.
-
Did anyone actually saw a nice improvement in Ambient Occlusion? I heard they enhanced the technology in this and the last driver and also games which natively don't support it can have it implemented using Nvidia CP.
I am actually planning to update my drivers, i am still at 314.22 so any suggestions are welcome -

Just installed these drivers and ran my custom BF3 FRAPS timedemo, which I use to bench every new driver since it's extremely GPU-bound (constant 99% usage across both GPU's) and repeatable every time. Basically the very first section of Operation Swordbreaker, which I've found to be have the lowest FPS in all of singleplayer with the heavy outdoor lighting effects. And it's quite representative of the average FPS in a 64-player multiplayer match, although the range of min and max is obviously larger in MP. Very impressed with the results.

High preset at 1080p. I was averaging around 60 FPS with every driver before 331.40. 331.40 brought it up to around 68-69, and now this new driver has increased it again. Whatever optimizations Nvidia has been doing for BF3/BF4 and Frostbite Engine, it's working.
Didn't bother to bench any synthetics since fluctuations in those scores are largely meaningless to me. Might run Heaven later on though. The only other game benchmark I'd try is the Metro 2033 built-in one but that's an older game that no longer receives improvements so the scores haven't changed in years.
EDIT: The crazy stuttering/tearing I was having with SLI in certain DX9 games (Source games, Torchlight, Witcher 1, Skyrim, Halo PC and Custom Edition, is completely gone. I'm so happy because I had to find workarounds to run all these games in borderless windowed before in order to get rid of the stuttering. BEST DRIVERS EVER. I'm never gonna change from these.columbosoftserve likes this. -

Nice, yeah I've noticed an increase in BF3, I couldn't tell in the BF4 beta due to all the microstutter I got. This is on 331.40 btw. Gonna upgrade now

big performance drop in my case (780m) with this driver, so I reinstalled the 327.23 version.... performances now are definitely better
-
-
when im in dual monitor setup and i watch a movie in the secondary monitor, the screen goes on a timeout after 15 minutes or so. it never did this for other drivers.
is there a particular setting i can adjust to correct this? i already chose 'prefer maximum performance' and 'multiple display performance moce' in both the global and program specific settings. -
-
-
but that could only be applicable if GSync was selected from nvidia CP but there is better performance regardless of that selection so my guess is that it has nothing to do with G-sync, i wished G-sync was more of a software based solution so it could work under existing setups
-
Read up on G-Sync. It's addresses a limitation of current display technology. You can't use software to solve hardware problems.
-
Whats your opinion on me getting the SLI ultrabay (yep i've located an insanely rare Y410p GT750M one) for 300$, 170W charger included? -
Already replied in the Y410p thread regarding the Ultrabay. DO IT.Jobine likes this. -

Just installed these drivers and i will test them out, although my MSI Afterburner went crazy after installing this driver and was showing wrong reading for core and mem aswell as weird jumps of usage to 4335935398(something)
did anyone notice similar behavior of MSI Afterburner with these? -
I just noticed that new drivers have been released: GeForce R331 Game Ready Driver, Version 331.65 - WHQL
Maybe this will fix the problem. I'm going to try them later this week.Captmario likes this. -
Do tell me if it does fix that problem

newer driver released today http://forum.notebookreview.com/gam...nvidia-whql-331-65-released-mon-28th-oct.html

see here: PDF pg. 10/notes pg. 5 and PDF pg. 13/notes pg. 8. -
It probably has nothing to do with that however i think these latest drivers are turning dGPU off completely, because my battery timings increased, when laptop was on total idle mode (with wifi on) my battery timings shown under windows was 6 hours 15 mins while same would be 5 hours 15 mins earlier, i guess that is why MSI Afterburner is unable to detect GPU when in idle and gives crazy readings and at the same time HwMonitor is not showing any temps related to Nvidia GPU, however while a game is running MSI Afterburner and HwMonitor both start showing things normally. not so sure though.

-
I think i'll stay with 314.12 for life with my 555m, all drivers after introduced a weird flickering in some directX 8 games.
-
-
another new whql released 5 days after this one. try a search on this thread.
-
what exactly are the differences between ,65 and .58? their release notes seem to be the same
-
no idea. think they are just game spacific ready so released for batman and then battlefield.
-
yeah thats all im getting - optimized for bf and cod. so i guess its the same except for additional game profiles for these titles...
