    How good is this gpu?
    Will i be able to play current games such as cod4 and upcoming ones like cod5/diablo 3?

    Its a step above the HD 3200 which is an IGP. In short, that GPU is crap for gaming. Get something like a 9600mGT and above if you want to game, and if you want definite** future gaming get something either 8800 or 9800 class and above.

    **I dont know the spec requirements but i would imagine either series of cards could play most of the games that are soon to come out at decent framerates on med+ settings.

    You'll be able to play COD4 at lower settings, don't know about cod5/diablo 3.

    COD4 will run no problem on it at 1024x768 or maybe even 1280x800 if you turn all the settings down. Diablo 3 should also run just fine, since Blizzard seems to have a history of designing games that will scale extremely well on all systems. Hell, my old Dell Inspiron 2650 with an 8gb Geforce2 Go or something ridiculous like that could play Warcraft 3 without too much problem.

    The 3450 should only be slightly worse than the 3470, and you can see some gaming results from the Vaio SR thread. Looks like COD4 is low-medium, with "acceptable" framerates. No number available for it but you might ask.
