I've just purchased a samsung 700g7a series 7 'gamer' notebook which has a Radeon HD 6970m inside (no intel switchable nonsense-thank god).
I have only ever used PCs/notebooks with Nvidia GPUs before so was looking for some advice on updating drivers.
I'm not looking for tips on using safe mode/driversweeper as in my experience it doesn't really improve things as the driver unistaller is good enough in 99.9 out of 100 cases.
What i'm confused about is what is the difference between the catalyst control centre and the actual GPU drivers-does unistalling one also remove the other? Is the ccc like the Nvidia control panel?Do they have to be installed seperately?
I ask the last question as the links on the AMD driver support page for notebook drivers for the 6970m lead to a 1.1mb download whereas the desktop link gives you a +100mb download.

How do you like it so far? How is the look and feel, build quality and what-not?
