Newest Ati driver

I have been trying to install the latest ati driver 10.4 from the site and it will not install. The installation completes and i have the newest CCC but as soon as i hit finish it goes into a little box in the middle of the screen and i then get a message saying no graphics driver is installed. I have no idea why it is doing this but i also heard there are 10.6a drivers could i have a link to these?

 

You would have to mobility mod it, search the forums for 10.6 alpha its newer and installs without issues.

Ok uninstalled ccc and driver and tried to install the 10.6a. I modded them and it passed no problem. Now it installed the new ccc no problem but no driver was installed and it auto downloaded some crappy driver from windows update what do i do?

 

Ok i tried installing 10.4 again ( i left 10.6a ccc ) it left me in the little box in the middle. I then installed the 10.6 driver it says it failed but it said it had to reset it reset now i have a new driver. can someone tell me what driver this belongs to

 

Thats the 10.6 alpha driver.

You have to restart for it to show, and I think I got a failed notice also but it worked anyways, just had to restart.

 

Alright cool =D ill test it later in game and see if i see a difference

 

No huge performance gains that I can see, it does fix the BFBC2 Loading issue with the 5000 ATI cards, that was the largest change for me. It also has the video encoder (may need the new CCC for that)

 

I noticed a bit of a difference no more slowdowns in sc2. I never had fraps running but i just won 4/5 placements matches for 2v2 with a friend now were in gold league
