Dox had officially announced that he will stop create or design new forcewares.
So, we won't have anymore newer Dox's Optimised Drivers.
Good bye and farewell, Dox.

An optimized 186.82 would have rocked. Oh well. He will be missed.

Thanks Dox for your fantastic effort in the Notebook drivers scene.
Will be a shame to see you leave. -

Despite never using Dox's drivers I wish to point out that I continue to respect the work done at laptopvideo2go.com.
I have had a Sony Vaio FZ for 2 years now. In that time Sony has only released to video driver updates both of which were 9-12 months out of date by the time they were released (the latest official one for my model is a 169 series driver).
This was made worse by the Nvidia drivers not working on Sony notebooks, and for the record I blame Sony's arrogance for this and not Nvidia. I have therefore needed laptopvideo2go.com drivers at times to ensure that my driver was up to date enough that I could play games to the capability of my hardware, even though it is only a 8400GT.
Thanks to the good folks at laptopvideo2go.com for making this possible and essentially doing Sony's job for them. Sony continue to show their terrible support with their lack of Windows 7 drivers. I will stop here so I do not hijack this thread but the assistance I have received from people in general over the Internet is much appreciated. -
Tnx for everything DOX, you and your drivers will be missed by manny computer enthusiasts :*(

Running 185.85 now
So long Dox! -
even though I have never used one of dox's drivers, I shall miss him...
Mainly due to the respect and effort he has put in to making the gaming scene for all those whom run notebooks. A savior to many of those whom OEM's forgot and wanted to game... Now onto the comments many a gamer should say to one leaving a good session "GL HH GG" and the same passed on in real life. Enjoy folks -
Hahahaha.
" most importantly pc gaming doesnt interest me as it once did" - looks like someone bought a console. -
I think it's more he's as disgusted with the current state of the industry and it's infection by consoles/casuals as many PC gamers are.
Goodbye Dox, I don't blame you. -
shame. his drivers were good. would be nice if he would add details on what he changed in the drivers so someone can pick up where he left off without 4 months of trial and error.
-
Like everyone, its time for him to move on in his life.
it was definately a privelege to have used your drivers

So true. The PC gaming platform isn't the favoured one any more. Although games can be tweaked or modded over the PC, the publishers nowadays seems to be heavily veering towards the consoles as it rakes in more cash.Only time will tell if the PC as a gaming platform survives this onslaught.
As for Dox Forceware, I used 180.84 and 185.85. Both were nicely optimised to run the current games and to boost the average fps. Dox, you will be missed. -
