Does anyone know what the next generation IGP will be from either NVidia or ATI and its performance level (and when it's going to come out)? Just wondering.

I haven't heard anything, but there will be a new one most likely when the Turion X2 comes out. The Radeon Xpress 3200 chipset has been released for desktops. There's not many motherboards using it but it's a possiblity it could make it to notebooks. As for the Nvidia chipsets, I do not know.

IGPs are no good anyways. go for a low-mid end dedicated, it will cost you only a little more

Right now Nvidia does have one to compete with the X200M - the Go6100:

It's only for AMD notebooks at the moment though. Hopefully they will have one for Intel in the future.

There was a topic last week or something about the new videocard (integrated) for Merom. It could support up to 4x AA and 16x AF and such things.

I cant find the thread but I thought it was 965 Intel.
