    has anyone ever tried vmodding their 8600m gt through nibitor? is it possible to do it with laptops that dont use mxm slots for the video card?

    Also interested in that matter...I'm at the limit clockwise, however my temps are still far away from the usual temps people get without a notebook cooler. (OCed my max. Temps are around 87°C)

    I don't know if pushing it any higher would be a good idea...90C+ is far from ideal. Going over 80C would make me nervous, but that's just me.

    G1s reaches without any mods and without coolingpad easily 95°-97°C.

    And there's still the option to add some arctic silver, I guess that would make another 5°C or so...

    I've done so, and set my stock clocks to 550 core, 1100 shader, 750 memory. I'm thinking of upping the temperature cap from 110 to 115, but it seems quite risky.

    90+ under a load is alright for the G1S. I don't know what is acceptable for the your laptop, although 70 doesn't sound so bad.
