I looked into amd website and apparently they don't publish mobility drivers for xp x64.
Where could I find the latest drivers for mobility radeons? (series 5xxx)?

I'm also looking for atheros ar9285 drivers, but it seems as atheros website don't publish them .
Does anyone know where to find them?

Unless you like XP, I would suggest getting Vista/7 x64 since they are more supported by OEMs and manufacturers. Support/drivers for XP have drop dramatically unless you buy a business model.

I know I did not answer your questions, but sadly its the truth for XP x64. You might have better luck with x86 but you lose the 4 GB+ benefits and security.

you might find luck at strags.com - Currently ATI Mobility Radeon HD Depot ;) - check out either the 7.740.x, 7.730.x, or CATALYST 10.3 release to see if it supports your adapter. These are the absolute latest Windows XP drivers that (without modding) might support the newer Mobility cards.

To a certain degree it is still the same even after Vista and Win7 x64 tbh, sound drivers in particular imo. My machine in 32bit get a nice manager and other goodies to play with, but same driver set for 64bit just gives me the drivers and no manager etc..

Try installing the vista x64 drivers to see if that works.

Why do you even need that extra stuff, for what I assume is integrated audio (or even better Creative SoundBlaster lol).

won't work - XP is NT 5.2 kernel, Vista 6.x. They use completely different architecture.

Had to do that once for a Linksys NIC driver. No Vista ones but amazingly the XP ones worked. Thought it would blue screen.

Typically, XP works more often than not for Vista but not the other way around.
