    Hi !

I read a few useful posts in this forum about forcing software mode for games on X3100 IGP and decided to try it myself. But when I go in my registry and try to find _3dMark06.exe, it seems it doesn't exist. After that I realized i didn't have 3DMark06 on my computer, I downloaded it and installed it. Still, after the installation, I can't find the registry file in my registry... . Someone can help me ? Thank you in advance :) .

Thx for the help, but I would need to know how to get the "_3dmark06.exe" in the registry, because from this place i'll be able to create new Dwords to put my games in software. The folder is not what i'm searching, it's the way to have the registry entry in the registry. :)

The thing is I don't need to run it, I need to know why I don't have the registry entry of "_3dMark06.exe". I don't need the program itself, I need the registry entry in '"regedit" so I can go add something at the same place where it is.

Well I found the registry entry but it's a bit different than the one needed... it's "~3dmark06.exe", not sure if it's as good...

Thanks a lot aussiek2000 by the way for helping me out :) .

I looked for your path but when I arrive at CurrentControlSet there's no ControlVideo inside, and like I said I found another type of "_3dMark06.exe", this one "~3dMark06.exe". I would need someone who knows about this manipulation (forcing software mode for games on X3100 IGP) to tell me what's wrong with my computer. Maybe it's because I got Vista... Thanks again :) .

Yep, same place as mine, but the last folder for me is "{1ADC0225-DA73-4DF9-9844-EF3D15C3762F}/0000", and I've got a "~3dMark06.exe" instead of a "_3dMark06.exe". Still have to know if I can do the trick there, and if yes do I use "~" or "_".
