Ok I have a interesting problem, it's time for a new laptop our current one needs upgrading, so I want one that will play WoW, Second Life and that's it basically, however it can't be noisy our last laptop fan is on all the time and its crazy loud, so loud my wife made me swear the next laptop i get wont be a laptop and a hair dryer at the same time.
So I have been looking at the chips and narrowed it down to a 7400 geforce or the new 8400gs or the 8600gt, so does anyone know how loud and hot these chips get? the 7400 is in a HP Pavilion Media Center dv6330ea, the 8400 and 8600 are dell branded, I notice not many reveiwers bother with the sound output of new laptops :( anyway some advice would be great, my wife will kill me if i order another hair dyer, as these are online orders i cant just listen myself.
    Regards

I have an Advent with Go7400, is it extremely quiet, however, it is also quite hot, idling in the 50's when it's been on for awhile...
