    Hey all,

Out of curiousity - is there anyone out there that has experience with both the GT 555M Optimus and GTX 560M Non-Optimus and can tell me what the difference in noise level is for these cards, specifically when doing non-demanding tasks such as browsing and reading e-mails?

I'm assuming the GT 555M system to be very quiet in this case as the card is simply turned off - GTX 560M would always have its fan on.. so the question is, do you hear a difference? (fan at minimal use)

    Thanks

Depends on the laptop and what type of cooling system they use. Can't just say GT55M is quieter than 560M. A GT555 in a Clevo is probably much louder than a GTX 560M in Asus G series.

The build being a Clevo P150HM, if I'm not mistaken
