Hey I am eyeing the HP ENVY spectre because of its size. The only thing is it doesn't have a discrete graphic card how would it affect the overall performance of the laptop. If I am only going play Diablo 3, stream HD movies from the internet and mybook and browse the web and using MS office Suite?

What GPU comes integrated?
If it is the INTEL on DIE GPU then no you will not be able to play D3, but you should be able to do the rest. -
It has i5-2467M with HD 3000 IGP.
Specs here: AnandTech - HP Announces ENVY 14 Spectre Ultrabook
Current specs for Diablo 3 are:
Processor: Intel Pentium® D 2.8 GHz or AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 4400+
Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800 GT or ATI Radeon™ X1950 Pro or better
The HD 3000 barely meets those GPU specs, but it may be able to play at all low detail, maybe 1024x768. CPU should not be an issue. Maybe some users that got into the Diablo 3 beta can confirm if they played with HD 3000 graphics. Here's a YouTube with MacBook Pro with HD 3000 playing it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gmyXDLd6dI
The GeForce 7800 GT and X1950 Pro have ~ 4500 3DMark06 where the HD 3000 has ~ 3600
Otherwise media streaming, web browsing, Netflix, etc will be perfectly fine. -
Thanks so much.. -
