Hi all,
Just running my m14x R2 through the 3D Mark 11 tests, and honestly I'm at a loss why I'm not finding a simple Pscore.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3740QM Processor,Alienware M14xR2
My guess is that because the Dell default driver is not FM approved, therefore I get no such score? Or is it because I'm running Basic (though from other forum posts seems others do)? Need a FM account?![]()
Hunted around quite a bit... but realized will find a direct answer if I ask here instead of interpreting 100's of posts that may or may not relate.![]()
Thanks much,
ped

That is not 3Dmark 11, thats the new version of 3Dmark known only as 3Dmark. There are 3 separate tests in this version ICE STORM, CLOUD GATE and FIRE STRIKE there is not a combined score for all the 3 tests togehter. The free version only let you run all 3 tests after each other, and not individual tests, thats why it might seem like just 1 big test.
So you got P1447 in firestrike DX 11 test
P10186 in cloudgate DX 10 test
and P84602 in the icestorm DX 9 test.
You can check my scores out here on my Laptop

I swore I downloaded the 3DMark 11, but perhaps you were right.
So essentially to see the Pscores, it's just the score as it's basic aka performance, I just add a P to the beginning of each?
So if I understand what the normal Pscore for the m14x R2 with stock drivers, no mods, it was around P2500. Does that mean from the firestrike DX 11 test, I'm 1/2 where I should be, or is this one of the things that are not comparable? Meaning I should download the true 3dMark11 vs the 3DMark to get the comparable value?
Thanks for the very rapid reply. -
MSILOVER is spot on.
you can find all the futuremark benchmark software in my sig below to download for free. -
Yes that correct, and again this is NOT 3Dmark11. This version is much newer and gives more accurate results in my opinion
P2500 would be normal for the m14x R2 with your specs in 3dmark 11.
From what i can see from the 3 tests you have done here you score perfectly normal for your GPU at stock clocks.
You can also download 3Dmark11 to test what you get there

Ok, changed the title of the post so it doesn't say 3DMark 11.
Also I just looked at the tests from the actual 3DMark 11 - those tests I recognize... so I see I did grab the new one... (which was listed as 3DMark_v110... which adds to the confusion I might add).
Cool, now very clear. Thanks very much Msilover!
EDIT: Added true 3DMark 11 results here:

So confirm it is on par with the others.
