    I am almost sold on buying the M570U from rjtech.com, but I have a few more questions before I take the plunge. I have never owned a high end notebook, and I do not have any experience with their graphics power.

    I know that laptop graphics are not equal to desktop graphics in power over model names (i.e. a 7900 GTX in a laptop does not equal a 7900 GTX in a desktop).

    What I am wondering is what desktop cards each of the laptop cards I am looking at can be compared to in terms of performance. I am looking for desktop comparisions for the following laptop cards:

    7900 GTX

    7800 GTX

    7900 GS

    7600

    Thanks for any help you all can give me.

    Go7900GTX = 7900GT

    Go7800GTX=7800GT

    7900GS is better than a 7800GS or ATI X800XL, but less than a 7800GT by a marginal amount (it's a beast of a card).

    7600 = probably a 7300GT (which is fast).
