I guess that depends on if the HDMI port is connected to the Nvidia GPU or the Intel one. I recall that default for Optimus is all display ports are connected to the Intel GPU, so the hack still may not work for all Optimus users over HDMI. You might just be one of the lucky ones to have your HDMI connected to the dGPU.

ShadowPlay works fine after using the shortcut workaround, and it record very well with minimal performance impact for Black Ops 2 on my GT 750M Lenovo Y410p. Btw, this laptop also have Optimus so i think it depend on other several things. :D

I asked NVIDIA on their forums how far the progress is on this a few days ago. Naturally they didn't commit to any kind of release timeframe but the rep assured me that shadowplay will make its way to notebooks 'soon™'.

I agree but you should start your own thread about it. I'm looking forward to proper Shadowplay support for mobile too.

Lol, [redacted] stirrer :p . It does the trick just fine but some official support after all this time would be nice.

ShadowPlay doesn't work properly with Optimus, even with the workaround. Can't get it to work here. The control panel comes up and everything, but when I go to record, the game pauses for about five seconds, then starts up, but nothing is written.
