wow that is really cool, use one of those, the impact vest and a pair of Nvidia's Headset screens and you would have the most intense experience ever

Mark my words I will get all of them someday, and then my setup will draw crowds from all over... lol
Wow I just finished the Video and this is a must have for me I get orange box, the falcon, the pistol grip and all the other stuff for under 150... there are mouses more expensive than that lol... If I have enough left over after my M17x purchase I will definitely get one of these -
its been out for awhile now.
but I guess that is good news that they lowered the price...prolly bc no one was buying it. -
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Well I saw it a year or so ago, but the addition of the Pistol grip is great! not to mention the added perks like the orange box... And I can use it with the release of Operation Flashpoint 2, if I have enough money left over I will definitely be picking one of these up
-
to me it seems really innovative, I think one of the big issues was getting games to support it but it seems to be happening now.
But for competitive online play, they better be able to turn off that shake from damage or from moving etc. I doubt many of those people will want that interference in their aiming... -
it will take a while to get used to using this. the hand grip has been out for awhile too. ;x
-
Never seen it or heard of it, but god damn that looks pretty cool.
-
I played with one of those when they stop by my university. I was playing Half-life 2, I felt it was meant for more console gamers than pc but it wasnt bad. It is something I would get if I had money to spend...
-
Valve released an update a few days ago that adds support for the Falcon for HL, TF2, and Portal; this thing is definitely gaining popularity. It seems like an interesting concept, but it seems to add more of a fun factor rather than actually help with gaming.

Yea I would still use a mouse for competetive play... I would just use this for left 4 dead, and other fun games where immersion is more important... or single player, think about playing a sruvival/horror games like Penumbra or Doom 3 both supported lol

I couldn't view the video, and the only image that came up was one of the pistol grip. So what all comes with the bundle? I might pick this up and ship it back home for when I go R&R / redeployment.
I could use the excuse that it's helping me with my marksmanship, lol. -

erm... the problem is on my end. I can't view videos and most pictures on this computer (I don't think it has plug-ins of any sort), and it's a public/work computer.

It's interesting sure, but it's not cheap. However, better support would be nice, or at least the ability to interpret itself like a mouse so it could at least have "built in" basic level support. I actually almost bought one a while back when I was still working at a Fry's Electronics, but it was over $250 at the time and there was no pistol grip, however after watching these vids, I kinda want one again, though I'd still kinda rather spend $300 dollars on getting a flightstick w/ throttle and rudder pedals.

Um... it is 150 with the falcon, pistol grip and Orange box... box set
-
that is expensive to some people...
-
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
No I know it definitely is... but you had said it was 300... or were you just intentionally exaggerating
-
Its cheaper than most high end mice actually, so I dont think its extreme
-
my laptop case was more expensive =(, but unless this starts to get support for pretty much every game made I probably won't get it.
