Yea, FarCry is awesome for sure! You may be sick of NFS, but I haved played Underground a lot although it is an older game, and I am playing it on Xbox, but it is really really fun!

I like CoD. I know it is old school but it is cheap. :D You could try CoD2.

I would also go with Oblivion. I have had it for my Xbox 360 since the day it came out and am still playing it and having an absolute blast doing so. It is not overrated in any way, shape or form.

Yea, you can get CoD with the expansion pack for $30. I think it is an awesome deal! I actually only picked it up a few months ago and I loved every moment of it!

Same here. I picked up the game with the expansion. Pretty good deal. Plus there are still plenty of servers out there for online play.

I don't want to rain on anyone's lovefest for the usual games here, but I believe the original poster asked for games similar to NFS Most Wanted.

Somehow I doubt Oblivion or Half-Life 2 qualify.

If you're into the whole racing genre, you could try Toca Race Driver 3......it's fairly new...and it's HUGE. There are tons of classes of cars, dozens of different tracks AND there's abundant online play.....I highly recommend.

Yea I have played both Toca 1 and 2 for the PS2 and Xbox respectively. They are both good games, but are more on the realistic side instead of arcade. They need to make the Burnout games for the PC, that would be awesome!

I don't mind sports games on PC......buy a Xbox 360 wired controller, download the drivers, and you're good. Besides, PCs look graphically better anyhow. Unfortunately, PC users do not have access to an Xbox Live service....so the consoles get a nod there.....

Don't forget that PCs have Internet. PCs are definitely better graphically.

Not so sure about the controllers . . I suppose for some games they would be good, but I have a PS2-style controller for my PC, I hardly ever use it because it is not very good. Difficult to use and get the feel for.

Racing games huh? I miss the old simulation style racing games. I don't really like these new "street racing" games as much as I do the simulation ones.

If you wanna give those RPG online games a try before you buy, check out www.silkroadonline.net.

FREE GAME~!!!! No folks, doesn't mean it sucks or has horrible graphics. This game looks fantastic and plays great too~!

    Check it out, I'm hooked.

    Cheers,
    Mike

BF2. As soon as my laptop comes in and I get the money, that's the first game I'm getting, and then the Special Forces Expansion

I see your system uses 512mb of RAM.....I'd suggest upgrading to AT LEAST 1gig for BF2. Actually, you might as well just go for the gusto and get 2gigs. Newegg.com has package deals for two 1gig sticks. It REALLY makes a difference in BF2, trust me.

Well, yes internet, of course. I just meant that there is not a unified online system like Xbox Live currently for PC gamers. I have heard rumblings somewhere online about how certain companies (such as EA) are thinking of makeing something similar to Xbox Live for all of its titles. Live also has the matchmaking capability on most, if not all, of it's games. This means that you don't end up playing a Halo 2 deathmatch with a bunch of pros when you're just starting out. HOWEVER, when playing a game such as BF2 online, playing with more experienced players DOES make you better, faster.

Also, I'd suggest trying a genuine Xbox 360 controller....they work great...one of the best game pads I've used for PCs . It takes a driver download for it to work, but that's no problem.
