    Hi,

Couple days ago, I asked about PC controller and many people recommended xbox 360 controller. Well, I bought it from eBay and got it today. However, there is no receiver... I contacted the seller and he told me that I have to buy the charging kit and USB separately... So, what do I have to buy to plug this controller into PC?

    Thank you,

The PC bundle is a waist, its the same as the standard wired controller but with drivers on a disk and they charge more for it.

The drivers will auto install via windows without it so that was a scam.

Wireless tho just like Lithus said you have to buy the reciever, otherwise it has no way to talk to the computer.

Wired is better IMO if your ok with the wire, no hassles with batteries and better support with 3rd pary drivers like XBCD.

im thinking of getting a wired one for my laptop, but i have a question: is it possible to get them to work with non-windows for games titles? such as FEAR or STALKER?

Its a gamepad, it will work in any game that supports a gamepad.

If the game does not support a gamepad, you can work around that with various programs like glovepie, pinnacle, and a few others, to give the controller keyboard/mouse commands instead.

I only stopped using the wired one for my laptop because the wire was so long and it was annoying to bundle it all up and it gets all twisted when your getting it out and putting it up all the time. So now I use a Wii controller instead and its MUCH better, and much cooler too.
