Can anyone provide me with the BIOS's for the 7950 GTX, both the parent and daughter? I need the daughter ASAP, and the parent later. I've searched alot and none of the liks have them in a .rom or .nvm like I need. Thanks!

Some programs dump them as a bin and its exactly the same as a rom all you need todo is rename it. Not familiar if nvm is just an extension as well or a different container.

.nvm is an extention NVFLASH says it can update from. The problem is, I can't really get into Windows on the laptop to get to it. I can boot my DOS disk, but it crashes by the time it gets to windows.

how many different type of 7950gtx are there; the one i put in my e1705 is from the m1710 lineup

it sounds like you have an sli type of setup (parent/daughter) which i thought was not possible.... at least not with e1705/m1710

having the correct bios is pretty important, a few more details on which laptop you have may help getting the right bios

From dos you just do "Rename MyFile.bin MyFile.nvm" or whatever. But yeah the reasons above are the reason i didnt even bother looking for the bios files, I dont know anything about the 7000 series cards.

Actually, I just had to change the .bin to a .rom and use nvflash 5.38 instead of 5.1. I'm on the M9750 now.
