    Hey guys,

Just installed the new 260.99 GPU drivers from Nvidia. Trouble is, upon restarting I got a bit of an issue where the display drivers don't want to load.

Anyone have this problem before  Any help on this would be appreciated.

My hardware specs are in my signature, and I'm running Windows Vista x32 Ultimate.

    Cheers,

    D0A.

    Description
Windows was able to successfully install device driver software, but the driver software encountered a problem when it tried to run. The problem code is 43.

Interesting, I don't think I've ever come across a code 43 before. It'll be interesting to see what the users around here can come up with.

Indeed. Just checking the Nvidia forums now, but I thought I would ask here first.

Probably will do if I can't find a fix. Just curious as to whether someone has managed to solve this problem.

    *Edit*
Well.. So much for rolling back to the old drivers. Seems like when I clicked on the install for the 206.99 drivers I selected the clean install option. Now, I can't even get the 186 drivers to work.

I tried using ccleaner as well to see if there was a dodgy registry entry. Still no joy.

Written to Nvidia support, now just waiting to see what they have to say.

Well, in a worst case you'll have to do a clean install :)
