seem fine to me with 260gtx
the optimus cards you have can be awkward with drivers it seems. its a case of trial and error. find one that works for you and stick with it. -
Just installed and ran 3DMark06.
285: 8866
290: 8897 -
Thats about right, I did notice that bf3 ran a little smoother..

What about the modded inf?

My recently upgraded Nvidia drivers scored worse in the World In Conflict Benchmark!
-
i dont think theres much difference in scores with 3dmark06
im getting maybe 30 more so 10,145 but if you run it 3 times it varys each time.
the one thing i dont like about the last 4 or 5 drivers is it sets default as aspect ratio so you have to go into nvidia control panel with every new driver and set it as full screen. -
I just tried MW3 with the new drivers, much smoother!!!
-
Not noticed much difference in mw3 yet. It all depends who in the list is hosting the game with p2p as the lag compensation is not great most of the time.
Also had 1 bsod due to driver so if it happens more often I will roll back to previous -

If anybody does not know, if you do a custom install, you get the option to do a clean install, the current driver will be removed and then the notebook will reboot, and then the new driver will then be installed automatically.
EDIT: gpu-z says this driver does not support cuda? -
And there will be lots of crap left in the background. I tried all the various options of updating and to be honest I found the best way and most thorough was the old fasioned manual update but this was using all 3 cleaners which have never caused me a problem on my 3yo lappy.
-
Didn't notice any difference for me with this driver.
