Back in June NVIDIA officially confirmed it is retiring support for Kepler GPUs with the new drivers. The first consumer driver lacking Kepler support should be expected next month, in October. However, the first 500 series driver has already been released. As announced it lacks Kepler support, but still supports Maxwell and Pascal SKUs.

Kepler support has been removed from INF's. However, kernel mode driver still contains GK100 functions and runtimes still expose SM3.x
In theory you can use NVCleanstall to install this driver on Kepler. Any guinea pig out there?
Let's see how much this driver will destroy for the usersPlease post bench results. Because new has to be better @Falkentyne @Mr. Fox

hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Thanks for the posting of these drivers @Papusan however i going to have to agree with @Mr. Fox on this one after all their current drivers even after using DDU have been very very very buggy hit/miss. As for the whole DCH thing, Nvidia will be forced in the end by M$ however i think like fox said "Iron is hot".
Still wish they would make a new NVCPL thats not buggy but that Nvidia for you. -
hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
With the 461 branch and above I have had so many game crashes related to the drivers.
This is with DDU being used in each new driver release, even clean installs of Windows 10.
The GPU is even still stock clocks I haven't even overclocked it yet.
Some times I even need to go into device manager to disable the GPU and re-enable the GPU because the driver has crashed and caused the screen to go super dim.

yeah my comment was sorta out of context I was saying in general...not particularly with just DCH drivers but software as a whole..some people don't mind being spied on by microsoft apple ect because freedom well true freedom went the way of the dodo bird a long time ago. and well its just reality..trust me if they want to know something they will know it, so be careful what you type or do...you can run but you can't hide..its sad but yeah once again its just are reality in 2021...and you you wonder why.....well what they say is its for your protection(individuals) but essentially its for the greater good (masses).
