Which is better? I need a back up for my regular laptop in case this one goes in for repairs. I don't want to spend alot of coin for a backup and seen a dell dv6105us with the Nvidia 6150. I had a old laptop with a 200m ati in it. Is the Nvidia equal or alot better by degrees? Thank Ktron

Err...you mean HP dv6105US?? The difference between the 6150 & the 200m is very minimal. You will get mostly similar graphics performance from them. The X300 will be much faster than either the 6150 or the 200m.

The 6150 is a little better. Normally I'd say to get a dv6000z series model that has the GeForce 7200 but since it's just your backup machine I guess there's no need.

LOL! I just run across a dv600z lappy today that has a Geforce 7200 with 64 mb discrete and 192 turbo cache for really cheap coin, now the ? is will it be close on par with my Radeon 9700? Thank You, Tron

I doubt it, having owned a 200m and a mobility radeon 9700 I can say that the radeon 9700 is many times more powerful than the 200m and neither the 7200 nor the 6150 are much better. To really get on par with your radeon 9700 i'd say you'd need an X1300 or preferably better, say an X1400 or go 7400.

Well the 9700 is a good videocard, I have owned it too. It isnt comparable with the X200M or 6150Go. To beat the 9700, you need an X1300 like stated.
