My friend want to buy a laptop and he ask me this question but I've never seen a 8200m before.
So is this 8200m integrated or non? And how is its performance compared to x3100?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!

As with most graphics cards though, you cannot upgrade them later. Make sure your friend realizes that.

Depending on his/her gaming habits...you may not need any other card but a x3100.

Thanks for the fast reply. Since he want to do some online gaming so I'd recommend him a 8200m. Too bad there's no HD3200 option for us here.

What kind of online gaming? Even the X3100 can do some stuff...
