    The 8800M GTX is much better if you are going to be gaming. The FX1600 is based on the 8700M GT architecture. You are going to get top settings on a game like Crysis ONLY if you tone down the resolution.

    8800M GTX eats FX1600 alive. About the twice the performance or more when gaming.
