I heard that this GPU cannot be overclocked. Has anyone being able to overclock on the 9600m GS?

why not try it yourself, get a forceware driver, and use rivatuner. refer to the overclocking guide. should be stickied somewhere.

    Hi,

for the record, I can't (ACER 5930g). I've tried everything (every driver) RivaTuner v2.09, nTune, AtiTool, Windows XP, VISTA x86, x64... and no luck so far.

It seem RivaTuner doesn't support this card yet, it reports bad clocks with every driver (from 169.xx till 177.89).

    Sorry.

I heard it had something to do with the VGA bios locking the clock speeds.
