Maybe these drivers will give a boost to BFBC2 too...By the way i don't see why if they can achieve these results on one game, they can't do it to the other blockbusters...

38 % on a desktop 580 maybe, but I'm really holding on judgement till actual results come in.

Would be interesting to know also if the performance gains also extend to other games

What's scary is my phone will upload at 2.7Mb/s on the phone network, faster than my home broadband (20/1).

Its 64 BIT. I still get the same error. I don't know what's wrong.

    Edit:
I also tried disabling hybrid mode and booting from 280Ms. Its still the same.
280.26 works fine but not this one.

go into controll panel add/remove program and delete Nvidia driver. reboot and hit F8 to boot into safe mode. run driver cleaner/driver sweeper/cc cleaner to remove old remnants which could be causing the problem. reboot as normal and then load new drivers. reboot and your done.

Do you know that your GPU is supported by the latest beta driver? Open your OEM driver INF file (nvxx.inf) in the Display.Driver folder (extract the driver with 7-zip) and see whether there is an entry for your GPU.

You can see this information in the laptopvideo2go driver download page too.

My gpu is 280M SLI and I don't see a reason for it not being supported.

Did you replace the original inf with the modded inf? Alienware forum should help you.

You need to ask what exactly they are measuring, and what was the performance before the 38% increase in the specific setup they measured?

It's not like the game was running perfectly and then they squeezed another 40% improvement out of thin air using voodoo and magic. It was glitchy and buggy and running slower than it should have been in the first place. This driver is a fix to get performance from abnormally low to neutral.
