NVIDIA today released GeForce 313.96 beta drivers, which are essentially the same as 313.95 beta drivers that came out yesterday with some installer fixes. It appears that the non-English GeForce 313.95 drivers that international users were downloading had an installation issue, so this update fixes that.
updated new drivers can be found here http://forum.notebookreview.com/gam...313-96-notebook-released-29th-jan-2013-a.html

Seems the beta release is geared towards the Crysis 3 multiplayer beta.

Good news!
Very nice to see that slightly older games like Just Cause 2 are still being treated to performance optimisations as well as all those others.
Disappointed not to see any improvement for Borderlands 2 mentioned but who knows, downloading now, so I'll soon see. Hopefully there will be! -
I have never had luck with beta drivers. But might give this one a whirl for crisis 3. BTW is it even out yet, the beta I mean. Tomorrow no?
-
I have tried this driver in 3dmark 11 and its crippling my cpu score o.0 can someone confirm this? And in just cause 2 bench i use to have in concrete jungle 55 fps with 310.70 and now i'm only getting 52.
-
beta should show up in your origin game list. release day is tomorrow (9pm uk time now) but ive seen it mentioned it could midnight tonight or be 8am tomorrow but it just depends when they hit that big red button to activate it.
i will test it with 3dmark11 tomorrow once the game is released. i want to test it first with this latest whql i have loaded. -

No crashes, and +/- 1-2 FPS more Just Cause 2.. hard to tell once everything is maxed and it runs above 70 lol -

I've never used a geforce beta before, are there any stability issues? Just wondering if it's worth an install over 310.90.
-
I'd say try Crysis on the 310.90, if you arent happy try the beta. You can always revert back -

Well I mostly play BF3 and I was experiencing sub 60 frames with new betas, oppsed to 75+ on the 306.97 WHQL, the newest whql was a bit better but not as good
but now I cant play the crysis beta with the 306.97. It crashes on the login screen, so Im forced to use this beta driver I guess -

The Crysis beta is out already? I gotta download Origin then (just did a fresh windows install.) I hope 310.90 doesn't crash.
-
im still running on 310.90 and its fine. will load beta later to compare.
thats interesting as these new drivers have been removed from the nvidia page http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us -
Im having trouble with finding it. When i go to Nvidia Drivers there is only a 313.96 and when i open that it says 313.95 and when i download it it gives an error
-
blimey, theve updated it to 313.96 already. could be why theve taken 95 off.
-
-
nvidia have messed up sorry daniel.
ive removed the .95 and added a new thread for .96 but they are messed up at the moment. im onto nvidia as this has happened a few times before.
the link says .96 but when you go to download its still .95
i will update the new thread below as soon as they are sorted out.
im still running the latest whql and crysis 3 is running fine.

working now. -
I tried 313.95 yesterday and while running Deus Ex:HR my 670MX hit 76ºC, usually with 310.90 my max is 72ºC and my scone 3Dmark 11 didn't changed
-
3dmark isnt likely to change. It wouldnt be fair getting a higher benchmark score with a better driver. Usualy the difference in 3dmark is very small.
-
well the good news is that for crysis 3 they run very nicely. everything else i get microstuttering above 60 frames, if I even get 60. they perform weaker than the pre-latest whql...
well back to 306.97 in 2 weeks..
