My personal motto in regards to updating drivers: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

What do you mean no actual useful improvements? Maybe not for you specifically, but I'd say that addressing the desktop and Firefox TDR issues with Fermi cards that's basically rendered them useless for the last 8 months worth of driver releases is a huge improvement for those users. You're on the GeForce Forums and you've seen firsthand how much of an uproar among Fermi users this has been for the past year.

R331 branch has been the best driver branch for my Y500 by far. It solved the SLI stuttering issues and gave me a noticeable boost in several games, including a 20% performance increase in BF3.

Yeah I mean from the perspective of a non-SLI non-desktop system. I'm hankering for some performance boosts for all systems! It's been a while since they added anything that was beneficial for my GTX 780M (ShadowPlay for laptops would be a good place to start!). It all seems to be streaming Shield for desktops or ShadowPlay for desktops - desktops this, desktops that. Would appreciate a little notebook lovin' from the big green N! :) Not to say the crash and SLI fixes weren't important because of course they were; very important indeed.
