    Pick GPU.

Support for PhysX-branded physics processing is one of the advantages of an nVidia GPU. Not all games support PhysX-branded physics processing... but in games that do support it, you will want your nVidia GPU to handle that (because it does a much better job at processing PhysX-branded physics processing than your CPU).

I would actually recommend to disable physx overall, unless you have a really powerful GPU. The thing is, physx will always reduce performance even if they look awesome. In some cases, like Batman AA, it can become a 50% cut in fps in some area, which is a pretty hefty price for some effects.

I find most games look great even without physx, and when I had a GTX260m I never enabled it to always have higher fps.

Enable Physx only if u have a x60m or above GPU.

For all other mid-low end card it's better to use CPU.
