Is there any difference between them in performance gains? How are both of them initiated or applied? What is the NOS feature and is it related to them?
If TDE raises fans up, then what is the difference between it and Cooler Booster technology?

They are not comparable, GPU boost is always active :) TDE from MSI is activated manually and if your psu can support it..

The machine I am buying will support TDE not GPU boost 2.0 How can TDE be applied manually? How much GPU performance can be gained by TDE if applied to a powerful card like GTX 680? and still what is NOS and is related to either?

NOS is taking juice from battery when you OC or when the MSI psu cant give enough power..
The reason behind NOS is that MSI gives crappy 180W PSU's while all others give 240W Psu's with 100W GPU's.
