I'm curious, if anyone has run Maya 2013/3ds Max 2013 on a computer with a Nvidia GT 640m 2GB video RAM graphics card, how well did it perform on either software?

We'll assume the RAM is 8GB and the processor is a 3rd gen Ivy Bridge i5-3210m 2 cores (2.5GHz w/ turboboost up to 3.1GHz)

I am curious as how well it will perform in deciding a computer to purchase. Thanks!

Please, refrain from crossposting, i locked this thread so that people can answer in the one you have in hardware: http://forum.notebookreview.com/har...rocessor-maya-3ds-max-2013-a.html#post8618648. Now matter how differently formulated it is, that is still crossposting, you might want to check the forum rules if you haven't done so already. If you'd prefer that this thread stay open and the one in hardware closed, let me know and i'll close the one in hardware and re-open that one.
