The geforce 330m gt is found in both the MBP and the Vaioz12. I am considering these laptops, but I have heard they are not meant for gaming. Regardless, can these vid. cards handle recent/new games @ med/low settings fine?
I am aware of the notebookcheck.net site, however I wanted to get opinions from users here.
Thanks.

The 330M GT is a fairly good card and will be able to play medium resolution at low/medium settings just fine. For gaming in high resolution and high settings, you'd want a 256-bit GDDR3 or 128-bit GDDR5 card such as the GTX 460M or HD 5850.

The 330M found in the the SONY Z paired with i-core CPU's is a pretty potent little gaming laptop.
It can even play CRYSIS with some of the settings dialed down. -

MBP or Vaio Z + GT330m + i5/i7 = a lap-roasting combination. Guaranteed. You'll want to make sure you have a cooling pad with decent airflow.

I wouldn't game with any laptop actually on my lap anyway
With the Z temps are pretty good.
Nvidia GeForce 300m GT - Is this card pathetic?
