Nvidia acknowledged the problem on its forum, with an employee saying the company was "able to reproduce the bug consistently now" and was "currently testing a fix". That was on April 26. The company has not yet followed up on that fix or responded to further complaints in the same thread.

The reported issues with Nvidia's latest driver arrives after Microsoft released a cumulative update to Windows 10 in March that caused severe input lag, low frame rates and other issues in popular titles (the problem was solved in mid-March). It almost seems like gamers have to choose between the improved security and features that come with these updates or the stable performance of old releases (aka *the choice between plague and cholera*). Nvidia and Miro$oft seems to give a damn in stability and max performance. And soon we have new big main OS version upgrade. Only God knows what will hit the computer users!!

4.700? With 8750h+2080 Max-Q? Can you post link to result?

My system is tuned, with the bios of 90W and Kironaut on the 2080 Max-Q, the 8750H with undervolt and Conductonaut, the RAM at 3.000 Mhz ........ but it is too much difference, something does not fit me, 4.700 It is a very low score that should be more than 7.000 in stock.

I managed to push it up to 5212 with a clean install of drivers. Still seems short of expectations, but at least an improvement.

    https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/35750087?

I'll look into this in the morning, for now I don't seem to have it in my list of processes at least.

No there’s something really wrong with your unit. Graphics performance is under my 1070maxq which isn’t normal and physical performance as well too low for 8750H (no repasting whatsoever, only simple cpu undervolting). Usually Clevo Laptop is great at this, can you upload HWinfo64 screenshot showing gpu power, frequency and cpu Core frequency Running that timespy?

I tried to find out, but I couldn't get it to overlap with time spy. When I opened it while it was running, Time Spy would just stop and crash. I did manage to notice a GPU temperature of 90 degrees C, while the core clock seemed to be throttled down to below even 500 MHz at times, however...

Then I ran FurMark and saw that the GPU has a limit = 1 at temps. The Fan Controls appeared to be faulty and I found that I couldn't even get them to 100% using the shortcut in the clevo control center.

When I reinstalled clevo control center, well...:

    https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/35825482?

I guess I'm kind of a moron, I thought the relatively quiet test (at like, level 2-3 of fan noise out of 4-5 steps) was just 'cause Time Spy wasn't hard on the CPU and because the laptop had had better working fans previously where the GPU never went above 70 degrees C.

If you didn't delete the RAS folder and NVcontainer folder even j95 will have same bug. Most users blindly copy and paste setup.cfg along with *.infs. I think upgrading nvidia is a thing of the past because older drivers perform better than latest drivers.

Don't you love Linux? It just works!

Both notebook and desktop. But, using the desktop driver package as the foundation.
    Yes, definitely. No nonsense.

Wrong. We don't install RAS at all...even better; without any errors.
Only delete sub-folders as shown here (Standard) and copy latest Optimus INFs + setup.cfg below.
    or
DCH package, just copy Optimus INFs and setup.cfg.

Tried 'em both and I didn't wanna pick sides so I went stock Nvidia drivers 391.xx branches. I'm smart not to pick sides and want to avoid waging wars which modded drivers is/are better. Then again, I use triple driver based on my needs. Haha...

btw, just did a fresh ltsc 2019 install on my machine and tried the latest 430.64 XG drivers (debloated by you), they didn't want to install, even with driver signature enforcement disabled. at first i thought its was due to w10 enterprise, but j95 latest installed without issue. hm, what could it be?

I think LTSC is blocked and you may need to change the OS version strings in Min OS version and major OS version to pass through.

hm, that would imply that @j95 circumvented that OS blockage in his Mod.
