I see the fix for the display not detected on the specific HP laptop, but I wonder if it also applies to other models as I'm having an issue where my external monitor won't wake from sleep when connected to my laptop. This was an issue with an HP Omen running an RTX 2060 and connected via a mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable and my current Lenovo Legion 5 when connected from a USB-C to DisplayPort cable. My desktop will wake the monitor fine, and HDMI works on the laptop, but my monitor is 4K/120, which only works via DP.

Do you know if this driver fix the issue where the refresh rate goes from 144 Hz to 60 Hz? By the way capping the refresh rate at 143 Hz fixes the issue.. but come on

One thing to note is that I don't remember having this issue on "legacy" normal drivers. It started happening as soon as I switched to DCH. -
I saw someone on NVIDIA geforce forum suggesting to cap the refresh rate of the screen for this issue and it worked for me. Capping the refresh rate on a customized screen configuration to anything smaller than 144 Hz will "solve" the issue.
This issue happens only on laptops with screen with high refresh rate and not in desktops.vIkInG_w0w likes this.
