Nice seeing Nvidia is out try help the owners of the brand new 30xx series graphics cards from the dreaded crashing issues. And of course with a new graphics drivers we will see side effects.

Nvidia's new Game Ready 456.55 drivers fix the issues we've had with a GeForce RTX 3080 crashing during games, but slightly limits the top GPU Boost clock speed.

The workaround for issue [3009452] is to create a custom resolution the same as default except to cap the refresh rate to a number below the maximum refresh rate. I have mine capped at 143 Hz and it works fine.
