Im sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. Heres the deal i download the nvidia driver from the website for my graphics card and the driver installer tells me it doesnt recognize that i have nvidia hardware, so when i go to nvidia's website and prompt for it to scan my computer to see what it should do it tells me i have to get my updated driver through dell.com. Is there any way to get around this?

Use laptopvideo2go.com to get new drivers. Make sure to uninstall, reboot, then run some type of driver cleaner software such as driver sweeper, reboot, and then install your new drivers and reboot.

Also, be sure to use the Modded INF with these drivers so that you won't get compatibility issues. If you want more stable drivers, I would take a look at drivers e.g. 179.13, 178.24 on the LV2G forums.
