My dad got me a new laptop after my recent one died, and would like to ask if this graphics card is able to play the following games on high settings:

    L4d 1 and 2
    CSS
    COD- World at War

    Thanks for any replies.

Also the laptop in question is this one:
    ASUS K50ID-SX114X

Huh I thought only the MBP 13" and a few HPs used the 320M IGP.

nope the 320 is around in other machines, but its not an IGP like the 320M in the MBP but a dedicated card with a gig of VRAM.

but it IS another rebrand of the G92B video chips, and performance wise it is a little quicker than its older clone the 9600M.

but since I dont game I will guess that aznguy is about right for speeds etc.

yeah Apple's IGP 320m is slightly different and I believe near the performance of the dedicated GT 320m, the IGP has 48shaders vs the GT's 24shaders respectively. But it will still be okay for those games you listed.

    way too confusing.
and 95% of them are rebrands and die shrinks of the g92

its a rebrand.. of the original 9600M GT for sure.. apple's GT320M is different.. anyways 99% of their cards are rebrands..

Since most people are saying this is similar / a little better than a 9600m GT, I thought I'd chip in

I have a 9600m GT, and I can max MW2 with 2xAA at 1280x800, as well as L4D2 at 1280x800, so you shouldn't have much problems with these games at a resolution close to mine

    Hope this helps ;)

    No, no it's not.

The 320M is based from the GT216 core.

@Rayyan the 9600m GT is better than the 320m GT but yeah, OP should be able to get almost similar numbers- slightly lower FPS at same settings and the OP's CPU is slower too.

The Apple IGP has only 32 shader, not 48.
I have a new mac mini.

hmm that's interesting. From google, most reports show 48 shaders. I've read one or two posts saying 32, but I think those are based off of the GT 320m. Does cpu-z or gpu-z think it's a GT 320m?
