Here's the only benchmark/review I could find: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M SLI - NotebookCheck.net Tech

Has anyone run benchmarks for the 650m in SLI? I believe the Lenovo y400 and y500 models are the only devices on the market capable with this configuration so I'll direct my question towards owners of those devices. If there's another device with this setup was well please inform me about it. Also if you can benchmark the fps in some modern games (at 768p preferably) I would appreciate it.

IMHO, go with a laptop with 670MX. Consume less power, higher performance and 192-bit for higher resolution gaming. I like the concept of the Y400 and Y500 though, just SLI mid-grade cards don't seem like the best use of power efficiency. There are laptops out there with 670MX for < $1200, similar or less cost than the SLI Y400/Y500.

There's been several threads on this machine though, just search, or go on over to the Lenovo Ideapad section: Lenovo Ideapad Forum

Thanks for the advice but I've already had my y400 for about a week now. I picked it up because I was looking for the best balance of price, size and gaming prowess as I'm a college student on a budget who commutes daily. I'm sure I could find a good 670MX for under $1,200 but I picked up my y400 for just under $800 with taxes. That's not even considering the fact that a larger laptop is less convenience for commutes and in fact wouldn't even fit in my current backpacks.
