    Is it THAT more powerful? IE if im using the laptop for gaming and i love a laptop that has the 7600 Go but there is another with the 7700 Go im not to fond of is the performance that huge a deal i should get the 7700 go?

    Do you play really demanding games? If not, then you probably won't miss the extra performance offered by the Go7700. The 7700 may have lower power consumption (and thus better battery life), but I am not sure of this.

    And as far as I know, the only two Go7700 cards on the market are both 512MB, not 256.

    From the benchmarks I've seen, I don't think the performance difference is great enough to get a laptop you don't like as much just because it has a GeForce 7700 instead of a 7600.

    Personally at this point I'd wait for the updated machines with GeForce 8600's instead of 7700/7600's though.
