I recently upgraded my drivers for this card in my Dell e1705, and about a day or two afterwards my computer froze. Now I'm getting vertical green lines across the screen even in the bios and boot menus. I believe that the card is failing because I can only run it in VGA mode. Just wondering if anyone had any similar problems?

Also if it is this problem I was wondering if anyone has dealt with dell's expired warranty service, as my warranty expired just two months ago. From what I have seen it is 49.99 for over the phone diagnosis, and then 199.99 for repairs as long as it is not a motherboard or lcd issue. Would this possibly be considered a motherboard issue? And do i have to pay the 49.99 when I have seemingly diagnosed it myself?

Thank you so much if you can help in advance, I'm having a rough time here.
