    When will the 8400/8600 refresh be announced? Not looking for hard numbers just a general idea, and anything else anyone might know about this.

    The G96M and G98M refreshes I assume is meant. I'd say they'll come around the time that the Santa Rosa refresh machines start shipping.

    The 8700M GT I don't think is a refresh. It's just an overclocked version of the 8600M GT.

    No, it's not a refresh, since it's the same core (G84M).

    Basically he's asking when the newer versions of those cards will come out. It would make sense if they came out at the same time Intel refreshed their mobile platform. I don't have any specific info on the new chips and when they will be released.
