    Hello,
    I own a DELL Precision m4700, with a GPU: Nvidia quadro k2000m.

Which cards are compatible, and is it worth trying to upgrade the card in this laptop?
The current card is not powerful enough at all for newer games, and understandable since it's 5 years old.

    Thanks in advance!
    Rasmus

Will this graphics card fit in my laptop without a doubt? And will it require any modification whatsoever, or is it a simple switch?

With modifications for higher end cards; do you mean switching the cooling architecture of my current set up? Or what would that involve?
Thank you so much for he help so far!

You will likely have to flash a new vbios on it, you should be able to either blind flash it or try to use an external monitor.

You can't upgrade any higher than a GTX 965m, unless you plan on rewriting EC firmware, BIOS, Mod the Port itself, Heavy case modding etc. It's possible but very unlikely that you can get it done. The amounf ot work u'd and knowledge required to do this is way beyond your reach, only true "nerds" do stuff like this.

Are you sure though that the card fits in my computer?

My old Laptop was an Aorus x3 plus with the Nvidia GTX 870m card. The laptop's battery and screen broke, could i however maybe take that GPU and put it in the dell M4700?

Given you download the right vBIOS it should work wth the GTX 965M MXM Type A. No you cannot use your GTX 870M card into your current notebook, especially since I think that the card is BGA in the first place.
