If you're running Vista there's no NVIDIA drivers for stereo 3D, only for XP. If you have XP you can download it here:
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dstereo_archive.html

The last update was for XP on June 29, 2006 so NVIDIA apparently gave up on stereo 3D, so you'll need XP to use your 3D display.

Wow, on a side note if you wanted to install Vista NVIDIA just added new drivers a few hours ago after not releasing anything for almost two years.

Did you see what happens if you tried to install it? Those are the only drivers NVIDIA offer for 3D stereo. Actually, I see what the problem is. Those drivers don't support the 8400M GS (and the whole 8 series). You're actually going to need to use Vista Home Premium since that's the only OS the new drivers work with.

in 3dguru.com, there is updated driver 3d stereo for windows 32 bit/xp.. yet i can`t find corresponding driver number with drivers for dell mobile laptop..
    for example:
    Nvidia stereo 3d driver 174.53
    Nvidia driver Dell 174.31
--> they say, it must matching version so driver may work.. seems i still don`t find it. any help?

Look at the release date for those drivers. If they're before 2007 they probably won't work with your 8400M GS, if not they should be fine.
