    I just noticed that I get better performance with Red faction Guerrilla with these ones and am now able to set particle details to very high with no slow downs. I will test further but this could just be something else or a coincidence. Previously I had to leave particles at high to get smooth frame rates.

    I didn't play enough games before the update to notice much. However, performance is great with everything and very smooth so no complaints.

    259.XX = ~5900

    270.61 = 6684

    That's a free 13% increase. Thanks Nvidia!

    For what its worth...

    Just noticed that with the latest Nvidia driver my Windows Experience Index has jumped from 7.0 to 7.5:

    Processor: 7.5
    Memory: 7.6
    Graphics: 7.5
    Gaming Graphics: 7.5
    Primary Hard Disk: 7.8

    Both graphics categories were sitting at 7.0 with the previous driver.

    if its the one in your start menu open nvidia control panel and at top press desktop and untick show notification tray icon.

    Uninstall Nvidia Update, to prevent a process (update notifier) from running all the time.
