-

-
LOL MrDJ like the Nvidia driver God. Downloading now.
-
Still no support for the 750m
-
I miss nvidia
-
auto updater has just come to life. bit slow nvidia, bit slow. hehehe
-
Hopefully they fixed the crashing from the other two 320 betas.
-
anybody playing dota2 and having a gtx660m? please report back fps gains if there are any
-
strange. since updating vantage and 3dmark just keep crashing. 11 runs fine though and score is up by about 100

report from bfaber on clevo thread
will have to do some more digging tonight. -
HaloGod2012 Notebook Virtuoso
3dmark(2013) kept crashing on me and I had to lower my gpu clocks to get it stable on these drivers. I also noticed about a 150 point drop
-
one thing i will never do is change my clocks up or down.
had enough. rolling back to whql 314.22
futuremark benches keep failing which never happened before. -
rolled back to 314.22 and all benchmarks running fine again.
warning report from spectroplasm on clevo thread

I haven't had any issues thus far. Are most people not liking these drivers? Should I roll back?
-
if its working for you then stick with it. as i said its strange how it affects some and not others.
-
Its been ok for me, no issues with office 2013 etc. but I run optimus.
I had issues with the intel drivers though. Latest 3071 drivers from intel dont like optimus (sleep state wouldnt work, other issues).
Windows update would revert them back to .2849 which work fine. -
I've now had them installed for a bit. Rock stable so far.
-
Well I just installed this update successfully (from 320.00) in the Control Panel/Device Manager instead of running the Nvidia Installer and it worked beautifully! I downloaded the driver and quit the auto-install that starts after it completes extracting. I didn't uninstall anything, and I only had deleted the older driver folder back when I installed it. I just selected update driver under GTX660M Properties/Driver and "browse my computer for driver software". I let Windows handle the update and it took a while, but now everything works as it should. So if any of you are getting Nvidia Updater Failed to Complete just update directly from the device manager and you should be good.
I had never seen the Nvidia Geforce Experience program before either, and I am unsure when (or with which driver) it was released. -
You guys with problems, what are you rocking, win7 or win8?

7 here. since rolling back all is fine.
-
I also have Windows 7 but it works great. I am sincerely surprised that this particular update is the first to work perfectly for me at least. My wife uses Adobe CS6 (she's actually using it right now) and it works fine, and we both use Photoshop and that seems to be unaffected as well. I haven't done any benchmarking but all of my games run great and I did see improvement in Shogun 2 today (5-10 FPS boost).
From what I gather it seems to effect SLI configs and owners without Optimus mainly. -
Firefox crash... driver restart... when the gpu is on.
windows 7 -
So...I just installed this driver and noticed that the Nvidia tray icon in the Windows 8 taskbar notification area is missing. I'm coming from 314.22 WHQL and it was always there on previous versions. I purposely didn't install GeForce Experience, which has replaced Nvidia Update. Is that the cause?
-
working great on my y500

would be interesting to find out if all you with no problems could run 3dmark11 / vantage / 3dmark and see if you get any crashes at start or half way through.
-
3dMark11 Basic fails to start for me, application crashes starting it.
Running windows 8. Latest drivers for me. -
-
M17x r4 680m, win 8, 3d screen. Blank /black screen during install, hdmi out works, rolled back to 314
-
I think 320.18 fubared my while nvidia driver setup. Now a handful of games/benchmarks won't work even after a full uninstall and reinstall of previous drivers that worked flawlessly.
-
also did you try the safemode install as i always still do it old skool. -
The Nvidia Experience, which I gather has replaced the updater, is ok but their Optimized settings are wrong. I tried their settings in a few games and then went back to mine shortly after. Fortunately there is a revert button. -
ive deleted the nvidia experience as i seem to beat it on advising theres new updates
-
I may do the same seeing that I plan to update mine manually. The first time I used the Nvidia updater/installer it caused me problems and failed updates. Did you just uninstall it? I am hesitant to mess with it now that everything is working as it should...
-
i had the same problem with the beta updater so just deleted it it control panel add/remove.
when i update drivers now you get the recommended full install or custom. just click custom next time you update your drivers and untick nvidia experiance in custom and it wont load it.
i wouldnt of thought deleting it in add/remove should cause any problems. -
I just ran 3D Mark 11 (on battery) and I turned in a P3207 and P3219 with some minor overclocks. I haven't run it in a while and I had never run it on battery (the first score was on battery). From what I remember that score is respectable for a GTX 660M.
I did get an error message but I just clicked "Run 3D Mark 11" a second time and it worked fine. It also says that the driver status is approved and that the score is valid. -
Running it a few more times it is a little fussy with higher clocks. It did fail a few times when I bumped the core up a bit more, and one time it started OCed and then finished back at default clocks. Mr DJ, did u run yours OCed or just default?
-
mine is always default. never overclocked.
that not a bad score especially on battery. i was getting 3968 on the latest whql driver and reverting back to previous whql im getting 3861 on my 680 on mains power. -

Here's a paste of all my info from the System Information app that comes with the drivers.. hope it helps you guys. Also, when I install drivers, I always do the Custom install and check the "Clean Installation" checkbox.
Also here's some 3DMark runs, all stock clocks (i'll add more links when I get time..):
3DMark06: 19906 3DMarks (I actually lost 1000 pts here from about a year ago..)

3DMark 11: P3569 3DMarks
Ice Storm: P96261 3DMarks

have you not read the previous 4 pages of this thread.
these drivers are affecting a lot of people but not everyone, which is strange as some have exactly the same laptops. -
another thread started as they cant be bothered to post here >
