I have had it with these drivers, none of them will allow me to set a custom resolution not displayed by the OS.

In XP I could create any darn custom resolution I wanted, now in Vista, any driver starting from 174.93 upto 175.80 will not WORK with me!
Whenever I tick the "allow modes not displayed bla bla.." it will untick itself automatically!
    It's driving me nuts!
I can't use another 4:3 monitor nor can I have the resolution I wanted.
I've changed the nv4display before installing drivers to even include the custom resolutionm in all the NV_MODES tag lines, and it still doesn't work!
    Why won`t it stay TICKED?????

    It's all in the drivers.
Newer ones should have it, starting from 174.x I think.
But it won't stay ticked! And it's driving me insane...

Found the problem. It`s called Vista.
Apparently 7th series geforces and Vista do not get along very well, and you cannot create a fesable custom resolution.
    Back to Xp,it`s a breeze.
