    Nvidia control panel wont open

    Today I updated to the latest nvidia drivers 185.85 drivers without any problem but something screwed up the nv control panel. I restarted and than I had to change the brightness levels, I right clicked and found theres no button for the Nvidia control panel. So i went to Vista's control panel, double clicked on nvcpl icon and i got these errors:

    'The NVIDIA display extension cannot be created.
    Possible reasons: Version mismatch. Reinstalling drivers may correct.'

    I get this error again when i click on ok

    Than the CPL opens but i get a runtime error of cplui.exe:

    'Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\Windows\System32\cplui.exe.'

    I reinstalled the drivers, did driver sweeper but cpl is still screwed. :eek:

    did you do driver sweeper in safe mode.

    I did the driver sweep in safe mode.

    Anyways i have nhancer now :) Ill wait for a modded inf and see if cpl starts working again
