    Nvidia geforce 9700M GTS

    Actually, of the two X305 tests I saw, one of them scored in the 7300+ range, the other scored in the 8+++ range was the sole example in the link provided earlier. I'm actually quite confused as to how he managed to get a score that much higher. Discrepancy of 1000 points or so is rather odd. Additionally, the other tests show around a discrepancy of around 4-5 FPS. Both were clean installs, not sure about drivers.

    Of the two tests, one of them show the 9700M GTS to be somewhat behind the performance of the 8800M GTS, the other showed results equal or around the 8800M GTS.

    So just how good is the 9700m gts? How well can it run now a day games and how far in to the future is it expected to run games well?

    You'll be able to run all of those games at very respectable settings with the 9700m GTS, although you will probably be able to find laptops with the 8800m GTS for cheaper than a laptop with a 9700m GTS.
