ive never heard of the card either. but from the looks of the post, he's not getting much performance. in fact, looks like he's losing performance (if hes coming from an x1400)

After looking around the internet for some information, I've pieced this much together: The Nvidia G72 is essentially a smaller (90nm) version of the Go7800, designed for easier enabling of SLI, since having a smaller GPU will make having dual GPUs a better possibility. The reason he's getting this card now is that Nvidia will be releasing it within the month/may have already released it. So yeah, good news, and definitely something to look into now. Here's hoping the Dell E1505 can become a competitive gaming machine.

the 7900 is a smaller package version of the 7800, there has been a new bios update for the e1505 that supports the gf go 7300, though thats hardly an upgrade compared to current offerings

smaller version of the go7800 huh? sweet!! can't wait for it to come out xD, but this might cost me an extra $300 for the upgrade... like the ati x1400 from a e1705 to a go7800
